Period Three (1990 - 1996): After reading the Bible, Allen takes Christianity seriously and begins releasing albums under the name Allen Myers. These recordings still used a 4-track cassette recorder. Style leans more toward prog-rock than avant-guard. Some recordings were made from 1990-1992 but never released and cannot currently be located.
The following four albums (two complete and two incomplete) are called the "Deathbed Tetralogy."
Allen Myers - Worms & Thistles
an approximation by Allen Myers
Release Date: October 1993 - Playing Time: 96min 00 sec
Release Date: 1998 - Playing Time (Core Album): 43min 09 sec
This album was limited to 200 copies. EACH ONE HAD A UNIQUE BONUS TRACK so the total playing time was different for each copy. The songs were exclusive for the person who bought a copy so I don't have the bonus tracks available. If anyone wants to contribute his/her bonus track please e-mail me.
Another oddity of this release is that there are quite a few uncredited famous musicians helping out that cannot be named due to contract issues. Each disc had a different handwritten clue as to who these musicians are.
There are no keyboards on this album. The synthesizer sounds were made using the GR-300 guitar synth that was used in the 80s by Pat Metheny and Adrian Belew.
